The 54th National Awards Ceremony by EEPC India was commenced at the start of 2025. - Engineering exports rose over 7% in January 2025 alone.
- Compared to other merchandise exports, engineering showed stronger resilience.
- Exports of aircraft parts, electrical machinery, auto components, industrial machinery, and medical instruments saw major surges.

- Steel tariffs remained at 25% while aluminum tariffs jumped from 10% to 25%.
- India’s share in U.S. aluminum imports: 3.2% in 2023.
- Products such as steel pipes, fabricated structures, and aluminum long products are under the spotlight due to high demand and vulnerability to tariffs.
