The overall growth rate of the industry has tapered off to around 9%. The flexible packaging industry is expected to grow at about 10-15% per annum in the coming years. The laminated products are growing at around 30% p.a. There are about 600-700 packaging machinery manufacturers, 95% of which are in the small and medium sector located all over India.
