Putty What is Putty?
Putty is a material which has high plasticity, used as a sealant or filler for domestic construction and repair. In texture, it resembles clay or dough.
What is Polyester Putty made of?
Polyester putty consists of an unsaturated polyester and vinyl toluene. The vinyl toluene reduces imperfections on the main surface. The polyester putty composition improves the efficiency of the surface completion method by minimizing the primer surface and sealer steps. Polyester putty consists of two components. It is resistant to chemicals and weather influences.

Why is Polyester Putty Used in Cars?
Polyester putty with aluminum particles can be used on car body parts where high temperatures are expected like in engine or a bonnet. Aluminum particles spread out the heat uniformly without concentrating on one particular point. High temperature will not cause any damage to the repaired part. Polyester filler is used to fill a surface and cover any damage. Research has shown that good quality polyester putty causes less than 3% shrinkage. Polyester putty is also used for pre-coating a car’s body. Putty fillers have a smoother consistency and sit uniformly on repairs. They are a result of one of the finest grade talc ingredients. They have a tighter grain and are less prone to pinholes. They are used for small repairs as well as for leveling purposes.
