Government Schemes to Support MSMEs

The Ministry would assist with instructions and materials such as pottery, clay blowing, and granulator. 6075 traditional and non-traditional pottery workers, rural young people, and migrant workers would probably benefit from this scheme, according to the state scheme.
Additional Rs 50 Crores were supplied by the government to set up clusters for Terracotta, Red Clay Pottery, under the Ministry "SFURTI" scheme, featuring new creative value-added items for the manufacture of pottery for cooking.
In compliance with the new Guidance, a Jigger-Jolly training curriculum for pottery and non-pottery craftsman in self-help groups will also be given.

In its latest guidelines, the Minister intends to improve the production and technological know-how of pottery producers and to produce new products at reduced prices. The Ministry aims to increase the sales of the pottery producer by preparing and the use of modern automation machinery.
It also aims to provide skill-development to SHGs of pottery-artisans on focused and decorative products, with new pottery designs; to encourage the successful traditional potter to set up a unit under the PMEGP scheme.
The scheme will help in developing necessary market linkages by tying up with exports and large buying houses; to innovate new products and raw materials to make international scale pottery in the country; Preparing them to graduate from pottery to crockery and Trainer's training program for skilled pottery artisans who want to work as Master Trainers.
