A comprehensive feasibility study that helped Whitewood Nigeria Limited move forward with confidence in establishing a polypropylene woven cement sack manufacturing facility in Nigeria.

Client : M/s. Whitewood Nigeria Limited

Whitewood Nigeria Limited approached NPCS with the objective of identifying a sustainable and profitable manufacturing opportunity that could support long-term business growth while contributing to Nigeria’s industrial development. After a detailed evaluation of multiple industrial sectors, NPCS recommended the establishment of a Polypropylene (PP) Woven Cement Sack Manufacturing Unit.

Our engagement covered every critical aspect of project development, including opportunity identification, market assessment, technical feasibility, financial analysis, raw material sourcing strategy, and implementation planning. The study focused on understanding local demand, supply chain dynamics, investment requirements, and future growth potential within Nigeria’s expanding construction and infrastructure sectors.

The analysis revealed a strong market opportunity driven by increasing demand for cement packaging, rapid urbanization, infrastructure development, and the growing availability of polypropylene raw materials within the country. Particular attention was given to evaluating domestic production advantages, import substitution opportunities, and long-term scalability.

NPCS developed a detailed project roadmap covering plant layout, manufacturing processes, machinery selection, production planning, regulatory considerations, and financial projections. Comprehensive risk assessments and sensitivity analyses were also conducted to help the client evaluate different business scenarios and investment outcomes.

The proposed manufacturing facility was designed to serve not only the cement industry but also other sectors requiring durable woven packaging solutions, including agriculture, fertilizers, chemicals, and industrial products. The project offers strong potential for regional expansion and future exports across West Africa.

Based on the findings and recommendations provided by NPCS, Whitewood Nigeria Limited completed the feasibility stage and decided to proceed toward project implementation. The study provided a clear path forward, enabling informed investment decisions backed by market intelligence, technical validation, and financial confidence.
