Freelance Project Engineer – Semiconductor Manufacturing Consultancy

• Strong understanding of semiconductor manufacturing technologies
• Expertise in techno-economic feasibility studies
• Hands-on experience with financial modeling for industrial projects
• Ability to work independently as a freelance consultant
• Strong documentation and presentation skills
• Practical, industry-oriented approach (not academic-only)

Engagement Terms

• Freelance / Assignment-based
• Commercials to be discussed per project scope
• Long-term association possible based on performance and expertise

Technical & Process Consultancy

• Prepare complete manufacturing process flow for semiconductor projects (fab, OSAT, ATMP, wafer processing, backend, etc.)
• Develop Process Flow Diagrams (PFDs) and block layouts
• Recommend plant capacity, technology selection, and equipment configuration
• Define cleanroom requirements, utilities, HVAC, gases, chemicals, water, and power systems
• Support vendor evaluation for machinery and technology partners

DPR & Documentation

• Prepare Detailed Project Reports (DPRs) covering:
  • Technical feasibility
  • Manufacturing process description
  • Plant & machinery specification and costing
  • Raw material and consumables requirement
  • Utilities & infrastructure planning
  • Manpower planning
  • Implementation schedule

Financial & Commercial Analysis

• Prepare project financial models, including:
  • Capital investment (CAPEX)
  • Operating cost (OPEX)
  • Cost of production
  • Profitability analysis
  • Cash flow, IRR, NPV, DSCR, break-even analysis
• Align project economics with investor, lender, and government incentive expectations

Regulatory & Policy Support

• Assist in mapping government incentives, PLI schemes, subsidies, and policy benefits
• Support compliance framework understanding (environmental, safety, and statutory requirements)
