Description:
Citrus trees are evergreen and can have bothflowers and fruit at the same time, so they are treated a bit differently thanother fruit trees. They store food reserves in their leaves and must thereforebe protected from stresses that will cause leaf drop. Although the cycles arenot as obvious as the cycles in temperate fruit trees, citrus trees go throughdifferent stages throughout the year.
Citrus are hungry plants and need regularfeeding. Use high nitrogen summer feed (such as liquid lawn food which iswidely available) from late March to October. There is no need to feed fromlate October to late March.
