The textile industry is the major consumer ofdyestuff and about 70% of the total production is consumed by this sector. Globallythe dyestuff industry has seen an impressive growth.Dyestuff can be used forPrinting inks, plastics, textiles, paper and foodstuff. The world consumptionfor dyestuff accounts for printing inks at 40%, paints 30%, plastics 20% andothers from segments like textiles.
