Description:
Fevicol type adhesives are synthetic resins and latex adhesives made from PVA. PVA (Polyvinyl Acetate) is used in adhesives for bookbinding, paper bags, milk cartons, drinking straws, envelopes, gummed types, folding boxes, labels and common products like foils, films, paper board etc. There are relatively of low cost, readily available, have wide compatibility and excellent adhesive characteristics. Synthetic adhesives produced in India are mostly based on vinyl acetate monomers. They account for 80 % of total production of adhesives. With the growth in wood and packaging industry, demand for adhesives is on the increase and the recent development of polymer concrete has further raised its value and future scope for entrepreneurs.

Description:
Fevicol type adhesive come under the category of Synthetic resins and latex adhesives are made from Polyvinyl acetate is thermoplastic, odourless, tasteless, non toxic, essentially clear and colorless resin. It has a non Crystalline and relatively branched rather than linear structure. Most grades of resin have somewhat broad molecular weight distribution. They do not melt but soften over a temperature range. The resin is unaffected by sunlight, ultraviolet light and air, further more it will absorb a small amount of water. Polyvinyl acetate is neutral and non-corrosive. The Various grades have good heat stability below 100ºC, show slight discoloration at approximately 150º and decompose at 50ºC show slight discoloration at approximately 150ºC but brittle at 10ºC to 15ºC. The adhesive industry is currently the most important outlet for polyvinyl acetate. Polyvinyl acetate came into widespread use in 1940’s as a synthetic resin substitute for hide glue. Adhesives are made in various types and may be synthetic or natural. The term synthetic adhesive means the adhesive which is prepared by using synthetic chemical such as synthetic resin. The manufacture of adhesive from synthetic resin is simple and can be started with very little investment. The most advantage to any type of adhesive as per market demand. Polyvinyl acetate is now used in adhesives for various applications such as Book binding, Paper bag, Milk Can, Drinking straws, Envelopes, Gummed Tapes, and Foils etc. The vinyl acetate adhesive is also used for lamination, combination of two or more plies of material into a now composite. The introduction of adhesives based on vinyl acetate has introduction of adhesives based on vinyl acetate is used for the manufacture of ploy vinyl acetate (PVA), Polyvinyl alcohol is being imported from countries like Germany, FRP, France, U.K, Netherlands, Japan, Hungary, Italy, U.S.A and Belgium. Synthetic adhesives Produced in India are mostly base on vinyl Acetate Monomers (V.A.M). VAM is used in from of its various derivatives like Polyvinyl Alcohol and Polyvinyl Acetate, Ethyl Vinyl Acetate etc. There is a very good scope in this sector and new entrepreneurs should venture into this field.

Description:

Fevicol type adhesives come under the category of synthetic resins and latex adhesives are made from polyvinyl acetate is a thermoplastic, odourless, tasteless, non-toxic, essentially clear and colourless resin. The resin is unaffected by sunlight, ultraviolet light and air, furthermore it will absorb a small amount of water. WPA is the highest level of “wet strength.” This in itself is a misnomer in that all starch is water soluble.

They are also used in glueing of furniture, the clay coating of paper, non-woven fabrics and many other applications. The manufacture of adhesive from synthetic resin is simple and can be started with a very little investment. The most advantageous factor in this plant is that it can be switched over to any type of adhesive as per market demand. The market size of all types of adhesives is very large and growing. Of this, the premium products account for some 50%. Quantitatively, the overall market size is growing annually at 15%. As a whole any entrepreneur can venture in this project without risk and earn profit.

Description:

Fevicol type adhesives come under the category of synthetic resins and latex adhesives are made from polyvinyl acetate is a thermoplastic, odourless, tasteless, non-toxic, essentially clear and colourless resin. The excellent adhesion is due in part to the highly polar acetate groups in the polymer and partially to the unique combination of viscosity, tack, tensile strength and other properties that exist during application of the adhesive and during a formation and ageing of the bond. Adhesives are made in various types and may be synthetic or natural. The term synthetic adhesive means the adhesive which is prepared by using synthetic chemicals such as synthetic resin.

An adhesive is a material used for holding two surfaces together. An adhesive is prepared based on various types & techniques such as water based adhesives, solvent based adhesives, hot melt adhesives, pressure sensitive adhesives, and reactive adhesives. Adhesives play a very important role in various industries such as packaging, automotive, construction, footwear, medical industry, and many others for the bonding and assembly of various products. Adhesives Market is expected to reach USD 53,503.0 million by 2022, supported by a CAGR of 4.5% during the forecast period of 2017 to 2022.
