CALCIUM SILICATE - Manufacturing Plant, Detailed Project Report, Profile, Business Plan, Industry Trends, Market Research, Survey, Manufacturing Process, Machinery, Raw Materials, Feasibility Study, Investment Opportunities, Cost and Revenue, Plant Layout
PROJECT DESCRIPTION
Calcium silicate is mainly used as an ant soaking agent in dust formulations as filler in rubber industry and also as in insulation material. It is extensively used in pharmaceutical compounds such as absorbents and acid etc. Calcium silicate hydrates are some times also used for decolorizing and purifying sugar solutions, fermented beverages and mineral oil. There are a variety of calcium silicate. The demand of it is rising in the country with increased in the consumption of pesticides. It can be manufactured on the small scale and the raw materials and plant and machinery required for its production are all available indigenously.
In India there are about 35 units engaged for the manufacture of calcium silicate. The installed capacity of all units is 42,500 MT and production 35000 MT. The estimated demand of the product is 45,000 M.T. In order to fill this gap between demand and production few more units are needed. There is a good future for new entrepreneur.
