PROJECT DESCRIPTION
Almost all of the chloroform is reacted with hydrogen fluoride to produce chloro-difluromethane. This material is used as a refrigerant and as airsol propellant, as well as to synthesize the monomer tetrafluoroethylene. Chloroform is used in fluorocarbon plastics; solvent, analytical chemistry, fumigant and insecticides. Only few companies in organized sector are manufacturing chloroform. There is about 7% market growth of this product. So there is good scope for new entrepreneurs.
