PROJECT DESCRIPTION

Lactic acid is in the form of yellowish, odourless, hygroscopic syrupy liquid at normal temperature. Lactic is used as acidulant in the manufacture of food and beverages. It is also used as presentative in the production of beer, Jellies, cheese, dried egg whites and other food products. It is also used in plastic, leather tanning woolen dyeing and pharmaceutical formulation as a mild acidulant. Food market is large segment where there is considerable demand potential for lactic acid. Lactic acid is an important project and is likely to have considerable growth in demand in coming years.
