Uganda produced roughly 2,8 million tonnes of maize in recent forecasts with consumption of little above 2 million tonnes and output at 238,000 MT compared to 346,309 MT consumed in Uganda, according to the United States Department of Agriculture (USDA). The consumption of wheat is 500,000 MT in terms of local production, compared to 20,000 MT in production.
