The demand for flavoured bottled beverages has sharply increased recently. Alternatives to simple drinking water include various flavours of flavoured water that contain artificial sweeteners, fruit essence, and other sugary beverages. In general, consumers prefer these products to regular water. This change is giving drinking water manufacturers in India the opportunity to expand their product variety.

Location and Land Required

We advise you to start your bottling plant business by renting a minimum of 1,000 square metres of premises. The space can be split into two parts:

1.   One for storing raw materials, bottles, etc.

2.   The other is for handling, packaging, and treating water.

Make sure the area has groundwater and isn't too far from the specific market before choosing it. You might choose a "Water Boring Company" in your area to determine whether there is water underneath the ground.

The setting also has a significant impact. If your facility is in the centre of town, you may also experience problems with excessive rent, poor transportation, and governmental constraints such as severe pollution regulations.

Machinery Required

·         Submersible Pump (1-3 HP)

·         Storage Tanks (1000 Litre)

·         Sand Filter and Carbon Filter Activator (30-40 T/h)

·         Treatment Tanks (2000 litre)

·         Reverse Osmosis Plant (3000 litre/hour)

·         Chlorination Tanks (1000 litre)

·         Sand Filter (Automatic)

·         Activated Carbon Filter

·         Micron Filters

·         Ultraviolet Disinfectant System

·         Electronic Dozer for Alum and Chlorine

·         Ozone Generator

·         Water Sterilizers and Dispensers

·         Water Filling Machines

·         Bottle Wrapping Machine

·         PET Blower

Different types of equipment are available to start a water treatment plant. To decide which machinery to buy, you must consider your needs, target market, and budget. Fully automatic machines are expensive, whilst semi-automatic and manual machines are comparably less expensive.

Raw Material Required

Water is, after all, the fundamental component of drinking water. The most preferable method of obtaining water is through subsurface drilling. You will also require other raw materials, such as

·         Water bottles

·         Bottle caps

·         Chemicals

·         Reagents

·         Pouches

·         Carton boxes/Crates

The method involved in bottling Plant Manufacturing

One should be aware of a few of the key procedures in purification before starting a bottling plant business.

1.   Storing water

All the water is pumped into a storage pump to mix alum for coagulation.

2.   Osmosis method

Allow the water to absorb for an hour, then use diffusion to remove all the contaminants that were in the water.

3.   Process of using chlorine gas

All the pure water disinfectants are removed from the gas tank by the bubbling of chlorine gas.

4.   Sand filtration

Filter faucets are used to remove contaminants when passing water through sand filters.

5.   Filtering using carbon

Dichlorination is a process used to remove colour and odour through carbon filtering.

6.   Microfiltration

Water is subjected to microfilters and then an ultraviolet disinfectant system as the finishing touch.

7.   Filling bottles

Drinking water is ready. It is transported to the water filling machine, which caps the bottles and uses an ozone generator to seal them.

8.   Packaging

The water from pre-packaged drink plants is finally packaged for marketing and shipment and is safe to drink.

Conclusion

Untreated water goes through multiple filtration procedures during the laborious process of making bottled water. The amount of pure water you want to generate will determine how much it costs to set up a bottled water plant firm. Therefore, it is advised that you do your research and gain greater clarity on your company concept before raising money for your endeavour.
