Responsibilities
Social Media Intern – Responsibilities Assist in creating, editing, and scheduling content for social media platforms (Instagram, Facebook, X/Twitter, LinkedIn, etc.) Support the development of social media strategies to increase engagement and brand awareness Write captions, hashtags, and short-form copy aligned with the brand voice Monitor social media channels, respond to comments and messages, and engage with followers Track performance metrics (likes, shares, reach, engagement) and help prepare reports Research trends, competitors, and best practices in social media marketing Collaborate with the marketing/design team on campaigns and content ideas Help manage content calendars and ensure timely posting Assist with basic graphic design or video editing (if required) Stay updated on platform updates, algorithms, and emerging social trends
Key Skills
- Communication Skills Strong written communication for captions, comments, and messages Ability to match and maintain a brand’s tone and voice
- Creativity Creative thinking for content ideas, reels, stories, and campaigns Basic understanding of visual aesthetics and storytelling
- Social Media Knowledge Familiarity with platforms like Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, X (Twitter), and TikTok Understanding of trends, hashtags, and engagement tactics
- Content Creation Skills Basic photo/video editing skills (Canva, CapCut, Adobe tools, etc.) Ability to create engaging posts, reels, and stories
